Coatings

Depending on the requirements, the following original Balzers PVD coating are available:

　・TiN Titannitrid HV = 2300; low friction and anti-welding
　　characteristics
　・TiCN Titancarbonitrat HV = 3000
　・BALINIT FUTURE TiAIN HV = 3000;multi-layer for extremely
　 high-temperature cutting conditions or dry cutting
　・BALINIT X.TREME TiAIN HV = 3500;multi-layer coating
　 for skive　hobbing

We recommend a coating be applied only on precision ground tools in HSS-E* or carbides.
